CVRISER aims to bring together researchers, educators, students, and leaders in the California Central Valley's institutions to 1) discuss recent education research efforts and scientific evidence, 2) propose pathways to addressing gaps in education research, and 3) facilitate interdisciplinary conversations and inter-institutional collaborations that elevate educational research and ensure research findings are documented, disseminated, and implemented to have a positive experience on our students' learning.

I loved the focus on student learning, the opportunity to connect with colleagues from other institutions from the region, and the opportunity to support early career scholars with an interest in our students. The interdisciplinarity of the presenters also made it interesting.
I really enjoyed how diverse the attendees were, with faculty and staff from the UC, CSU, and Community Colleges all working together without any hierarchy.
